Kata Beach Phuket Beautiful Day

Kata Beach Phuket is one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket; the beach is located just south of beautiful Karon Beach. I took this video on the northern end.

I love everything about this beach and spend quite a bit of time at it, I live up on the northern end of the beach, if you love to walk, run and swim Kata beach is the place to go, and even during the high season you wont feel crowded, the beach is much more laid back than Patong and the scenery is very gorgeous.

I have two of my distance swim routes on this beach; the PU island swim and I also like to swim from the south and make my way to the north end, both swim routes really give you a good swim workout, just be careful on some of the rip currents you will see the flags on the beach, they are located near Club med Resort beach area, so just be cautious when swimming in that area.

Dining In Surin Beach Phuket Thailand

This video is a tour behind Surin beach to give you an idea what its like to see all the small little seaside restaurants you can enjoy, when you take a stroll down the road behind the beach you will be amazed at all the seafood, Thai food restaurants and there are plenty of them to choose from, we have dined at several of these locations and it very worthwhile. Almost all the seaside dining areas are located within a few meters of the water, this really makes a great setting and of course the fresh seafood is very good.

Surin Beach Phuket is a small beach that is located north of Kamala beach, this small little beach is a lot of fun to visit, we come up here almost twice a month from our home in Kata beach, it really is that nice. One thing you notice right away when you arrive at Surin beach is the number of small seaside dining locations; these are a real joy to have a late afternoon lunch or sunset dinner. If you like Thai and seafood at very cheap prices this is one of the best places to go, and you get the ultimate seaside dining only a few meters away from the beautiful waters of the Andaman Sea.

The surf at Surin beach can be pretty rough at times, so please be cautious, one of my many distance swims that are around the Island of Phuket is located right here. During the low season there is not much activity on the beach, same goes with high season, you never really experience the overcrowded feeling.

So my recommendation to you is when you come to Phuket please schedule a day or two and enjoy this beautiful pristine beach, you’ll be glad you did, remember to take you camera, the surroundings are breathtaking and beautiful.

Kata Beach Phuket Cheap Dining

Kata Beach Phuket Cheap Dining. One of my favorite places to eat is the Kata Beach food court which is located on the north finish of Kata beach, the food is not on the beach its actually located on the road behind the north finish of Club Med.

Inside this food court there’s numerous tiny restaurants to pick from, I have eaten in very all of them and they all are very nice, the prices are cheap, nice portions and of coursework the Thai and seafood is out of this world.

If you are on a budget and require to save a lot of funds on your dining expenses eating in places similar to the Kata Beach food court is the way to go.

The Kata beach food court is a very lovely place to go after being at the beach for a few hours, you know you can take a break and wonder over to the food court for a very relaxing meal or cold brew, either way you’ll be glad you did. Sooo give this food court a try and tell me what you think.

Patong Beach Phuket Thailand

I like to keep my Phuket beach videos current so the other day early in the morning I went up to Patong beach to get some video from north, south and center Patong beach. Patong beach is probably one of the busiest beaches in Phuket, especially later on during the day when the tourist and Jet Ski’s start arriving.

About once a week I will come up to Patong beach and run the entire beach, the best time to walk and run Patong beach is early in the morning, one of my swim routes is also here, but I always do that very early before all the watercraft arrives.

Phuket Thailand Open Market

Have you ever been to a Phuket Thailand open market? If you haven’t, please do so, they are a lot of fun to visit and you can really see some of Thailands most famous foods. Yeah, you can just go to the local grocery store and get just about everything you need, but nothing beats an open Thailand market experience.

Open Thailand markets are located all over Phuket on any given day; you just have to do your research. Once you get to the market it is very easy to get overwhelmed, but think of it as saving a bunch of cash and really getting some fresh food, you could literally saves hundreds of Baht by using the market. Almost all Phuket restaurants pickup their fresh produce each day.

So my advice to you is, when you are in Phuket, find an open market and enjoy all the wonderful foods from Thailand, it really is a joy.

One of the best things you can do in Phuket is enjoying excellent seaside dining; this is always one of the top choices for many of tourists that come to Phuket.

There are many seaside restaurants to enjoy in Phuket and I want to show you as many as I can, the video tour will give you an idea what truly is seaside dining in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.

This small little restaurant is located just to the right of Mom Tris Wine and Grill, like most Phuket seaside restaurants they all serve fresh seafood and are a real joy to visit.

The Thai food restaurant is a simple seaside restaurant that is located on the very southern end of Kata beach Phuket, we have enjoyed this restaurant a few times and it is always worth stopping by for a late lunch or early dinner. The menu is very simple to read and the Thai food and seafood selections are always fresh, so you wont be disappointed.

One of the best features of this restaurant is that it overlooks beautiful Kata beach on the southern end, this alone will make your dining experience all more special. The restaurant is just down the beach from the Kata beach resort, which is one of the biggest resorts on Kata beach.

Kata Beach Phuket PU Island Swim Details

The swim itself is easy but I always do it with surface swim fins, neoprene top and swim goggles. I start this swim on the northern finish of Kata beach and swim around the Island in a counterclockwise direction staying up 10 meters off the island as I make my way around it.

The PU Island swim is my favorite distance swim in Phuket; I have several locations throughout the Island but this distance swim I am liking best. I am liking to swim PU Island about 2 times per week, most of the time I do it early in the morning, usually before 1000 AM and during high tide.

The swim takes me about 45-50 minutes using my surface fins. After spending years as a US Navy SEAL I have experienced all sort of beach and water conditions all over the world and have used some type of fins in all my water borne operations, so my recommendation is if you are going to do any distance swims in Phuket get yourself some fins, they can be a life saver in current conditions.

Rawai Beach Phuket Thailand

One of the most stunning sites on Phuket is the Thai fishing boats, when you arrive to Rawai, you will be amazed at all the beautiful fishing boats anchored in the water, during sunrise the view could not be more pristine, be sure to bring your camera, you will get some excellent Rawai bay shots with the surrounding islands in the background, I believe if you kept at it you could probably get some lovely post card material camera shots here, it is that stunning.

Rawai Beach Phuket is located on the eastern side of Phuket Island, the eastern shore beaches are not the best to swim in, I often, about one times a week head down to Chalong pier and swim the length of the beach, the water is neat and I would recommend it to any beach goers.

You will find a great variety of seaside restaurants along Rawai, one of the best is located on the North finish of the beach; Nikitas which has been around a long time and the setting is the best in Rawai. So during your time in Phuket, take a ride down to Rawai, explore the lots of different restaurants, walk along the Chalong pier, you will truly enjoy this area of Phuket.
