Patong Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Phuket and also one of the most beautiful. Some of the best times to visit this tropical gem, is early in the morning before the crowd and watercraft start to pickup, during the early morning hours you will see a lot a folks walking and just enjoying the beautiful scenery.

I like to run the beach in the early morning hours about once a week, I also have one of my distance swim located at Patong beach. One note, I always do my Patong beach distance swim very early in the morning, you have to do this before all the Jet skis and other watercraft arrive, if not, you take a chance on getting hit one of them.

Another great time is the early evening hours and you will witness some of the best sunsets in Phuket, so please don’t forget to bring your camera.
